I've gone from competing on an Olympic team to touring with multi-platinum artists to decoding the systems that quietly shape modern life.
Today, I'm a public servant focused on Ubiquitous Technical Surveillance (UTS) and the complex ways modern technologies influence privacy, behavior, operations, and decision-making.
For more than a decade, I've worked in senior operational and technical roles within the U.S. government, advising heads of agencies, senior executives, foreign partners, and mission-focused teams on sensitive, interdisciplinary problems. That experience is complemented by advisory roles with Fortune 100 CEOs, venture capital and private equity partners, Hall of Fame athletes, and multi-platinum recording artists, helping them manage technical risk, data exposure, and consequential decisions.
My work has included developing novel hardware and software, leading high-stakes technical programs, negotiating multilateral agreements, and designing mitigations for real-world threats faced by individuals and organizations. I've operated in environments where clarity, discretion, and human judgment matter as much as technical skill.
I also publish independent public work that translates complex systems into understandable, practical insights. This includes step-by-step digital security guides, YouTube explainers, and peer-accessible research on platforms such as Zenodo.
